bern: on xmas in the office
bern: white collared workers are actually runaways from hougang chalet
for those who dont know what's hougang chalet, check the singapore street directory on singapore institute of mental health. im not kidding, reasons i have concluded the above are based on the following observations recorded:
1. my colleagues (both the males and females) play with minature stuff toys. i mean like the happy house keychain kinds and slightly larger ones. but playing as in galloping aross the aisle of the cubicle, imitating the sound/whine/neigh of a horse while holding an donkey toy. (okay lah, eeyore from winnie the pooh). but the thing is hello ! they're higher mid twenties already ! but they really treat those toys as their babies. like you must really sayang them, cannot toss them around, etc etc.
2. they came up with this brillant idea to staple candies, chocolate bars to the christmas tree. haha, i took a picture and the blue mini timeout bars are the most obvious followed by yellow packets of m&m's with peanuts.
please note that im not suaning them or i detest them or anything. im just acting as an clinical observor in this case.
