I'M BACK!!
hey peeps!!
jus got back this morn. haha slept till now =)
rome was cold *brrr* but thankfully it didn't rain heavily. i think i have walked more in the last 5 days than the entire yr!! hahah okay maybe its a bit of an exaggeration.. but it was really
alot of walking! walked from the the hotel shuttle drop off point at some national monument to the vatican city, spanish steps,trevi fountain,colosseum,pantheon. ooh n i also climbed 320
narrow steps up the dome of the vatican to a really nice overview of the city. shall try to post some pics up here =) also saw old architecture, ancient ruins and the art works of michelangelo at the sistine chapel. heh dun really noe how to appreciate art but his works were like over above and around us at the vatican museum n it was really awestrucking. hmm maybe i lost weight after all tt walking. hahah no chance man. free buffet breakfast in the morn den pasta/pizza for lunch and again pasta/pizza for dinner!! yummy!! but kinda missed s'pore food though it was such a short period of time.
tt sort of sums up my week in rome! oh ya one more thing! think its fate =P when i was at changi airport checking in at the staff travel counter, i saw this really gd looking guy with his family checking in too. den cos its staff travel counter means not every one gg same place rite. but guess wat. he was on the same flight as me n sitting at the same row la! haha n tt's not all. 2 days later at the vatican museum i saw him again!! lol rome's so big n there i was within a span of half a metre frm him =D wahaha. him aside. there were many italian shuai ges too!! n got u all their
tu chan chocs. but maybe can find in s'pore. the brand's baci or something.
haha without fail we'll always buy chocs back from our trip.
hs, yup there was fastpass at tt time too. have fun at disneyland!! oh n u can go to those factory outlets in the outskirts. there's one at barstow. the stuff there r cheaper!
